The Guajira I Wind Farm is a reality
· Isagen's Guajira I is the largest wind farm in Colombia and the first to be built in more than 17 years in Colombia. It has 10 wind turbines 78 meters high, with a capacity to generate 20MW of clean energy.
· During the administration of President Iván Duque, Colombia has increased its installed capacity for the generation of non-conventional renewable energies 100 times, going from 28.2 to 2,800 MW between projects completed, assigned and in execution.
· La Guajira is consolidated as the epicenter of the Colombian Energy Transition. The department will have 16 wind farms, which will generate 11,000 jobs and more than $10 billion pesos in investments.

The Presidential Adviser for Stabilization and Consolidation, Emilio Archila, highlighted today before the United Nations Organization that thanks to President Iván Duque's Peace with Legality policy, Colombia is a better country with the historical progress made in the implementation of peace. “I am proud of the recognition that the majority of the ambassadors of the United Nations Security Council have given us today (…) The progress to date is much higher than the 26% that we should have achieved in 5 years of implementation. The UN Report recognizes the progress made and highlights the challenges and difficulties that we have had to overcome. We will continue down this path,” said the senior official.
